Meet Karen Johnson, your new Legal Department Manager

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Karen Johnson as the new Legal Department Manager here at Lovetts. With a career within the debt recovery industry dating back nearly two decades, Lovetts are excited for her to share her expertise in both commercial debt recovery and operational management.

Karen is well versed in debt recovery and will no doubt provide invaluable insights for both her clients and her team. Previously, Karen has created a specialised debt recovery presence alongside the Commercial Dispute Resolution team within the London office of a large Scottish legal firm and has also set up the in-house legal team for a very large debt purchasing company.

Karen will be managing a portfolio of her own clients alongside carrying out her managerial duties, and will be introducing herself in due course to the contacts she will be working with moving forward. She will be available to all clients if they have any matters they wish to discuss with her, and looks forward to ensuring they receive the same high level of service they are accustomed to at Lovetts.

Commenting on the new appointment, Managing Director Michael Higgins said - "Karen's clear and undeniable knowledge of everything debt recovery set her apart from the other applicants for the role, and we anticipate that she will be able to lead her department in new and exciting directions. We are very pleased to welcome her to the Lovetts team."

Karen added - "I am looking forward to embarking on this journey with Lovetts, using the wealth of my experience from over the years to benefit our clients."

This position opened up following the departure of Russell Codd, Lovetts' previous department manager, who had served the company for an impressive 17 years.
