Lovetts Solicitors has appointed Pritti Amin as Operations Manager, overseeing staff management, reporting, and the day-to-day running of the firm. The Solicitor comes with a wealth of experience in the legal sector, including most recently as Associate Solicitor and Debt Recovery Manager for Moon Beever Solicitors.
In addition to her responsibilities as Operations Manager, Pritti will also head up the Lovetts Commercial Litigation Team, and oversee the rollout of new products and services as the company seeks to expand its client offering throughout 2019 and beyond.
Commenting on the appointment, Michael Higgins, Managing Director for Lovetts said: “Pritti brings with her a range of experience, not only in the areas of business and operations, but also as a Solicitor with a deep understanding of the commercial litigation and debt recovery sectors. This will be particularly important to the firm going forward, as we look to take on more staff and develop our teams through a period of continued expansion.”
During her time at Moon Beever Solicitors, Pritti was responsible for the management of 21 staff members, including directly leading the firm’s 8-strong consumer credit debt recovery team. Prior to this she spent six years as a Solicitor and Director at Solex Legal Services Ltd.
Upon joining Lovetts, Pritti said: “I am delighted to be joining the Lovetts team. The firm is service-driven, and forward thinking in its use of technology and implementation of modern legal processes, both from an internal and external point of view. I look forward to working closely with other managers and directors to ensure that we are supporting our staff to the best of our abilities, so that the overall client service levels of the firm remain unparalleled.”
In addition to commercial expansion, the firm is looking to increase its corporate social responsibility and social impact outreach this year. With a keen interest in charity work including regularly volunteering for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and the Alzheimer’s Society, Pritti will work with staff members across teams to help identify opportunities for individuals wishing to do more work in this area.
